Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

Cook the Tex-Mex rice according to package instructions and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Season the sirloin steak with salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add diced bell peppers and onion. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In bowls, layer the cooked Tex-Mex rice, sliced steak, jalapeño bacon beans, sautéed peppers, and onions. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. 5

    Add Toppings

Finish with pico de gallo, a dollop of sour cream, and sprinkle tortilla strips on top.
