Pork Chop

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Preheat your grill or char-broiler to medium-high heat. Rub the pork chop with olive oil, then season it generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chop

Place the seasoned pork chop on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (145°F for medium).

  3. 3

    Make the Chutney

In a saucepan, combine the white wine, diced apples, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the apples are tender and the mixture thickens slightly.

  4. 4

    Finish the Chutney

Stir in the lemon juice and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the grilled pork chop and spoon the apple raisin chutney over the top. Enjoy your Bourbon Street Pork Chop!
