Prepare the Tapenade
In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries, papaya, mango, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
Prepare the Tuna
Rub the tuna steaks with olive oil and then coat them evenly with blackening seasoning on both sides.
Cook the Tuna
Heat a skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the tuna steaks and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until a blackened crust forms and the tuna is cooked to your desired doneness.
Serve
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Serve topped with the prepared fruit tapenade.
