Meatballs

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Tomato Gravy

While the meatballs are baking, heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add your favorite tomato sauce and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Meatballs with Gravy

Once the meatballs are cooked, gently add them to the simmering tomato gravy. Let them cook together for an additional 5-10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the pork and ricotta meatballs hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
