For the Grilled Pork

For the Fried Egg

For the Steamed Jasmine Rice

Method

Prepare the Pork

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, and olive oil. Add the pork loin and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove pork from marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Cook the Rice

  1. 3

    Rinse and Cook the Rice

Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine rinsed rice and 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.

Fry the Eggs

  1. 4

    Fry the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes.

Serve

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, serve a generous portion of steamed jasmine rice topped with sliced grilled pork and a fried egg. Enjoy your meal!
