1. Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Chicken

While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer, then gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

4. Combine and Serve

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
