Directions

  1. 1

    Chill the Glass

Start by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of vodka and 0.5 oz of dry vermouth. Make sure the shaker is clean.

  3. 3

    Add Ice

Fill the shaker with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to ensure the drink is chilled during shaking.

  4. 4

    Shake or Stir

Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix the ingredients well, or stir gently if you prefer a smoother texture.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Glass

Empty the ice water from the chilled martini glass and strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Take 3 olives and place them on a cocktail pick or drop them directly into the glass as a garnish.

  7. 7

    Serve

Your Sydney's Martini is now ready to serve. Enjoy it straight up!
