Method

Preparation of Wings

1

Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and olive oil. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasonings.

2

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

3

Arrange the Wings

Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This will allow them to cook evenly and get crispy.

Cooking the Wings

4

Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are crispy and cooked through. Flip the wings halfway through cooking for even crispiness.

Preparation of Sauce

5

Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the buffalo sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well mixed.

Coating the Wings

6

Toss in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.

7

Serve

Serve the Kookaburra Wings immediately while hot, garnished with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.
