Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

Make BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, mustard, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well mixed and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for about 15 minutes.

Place the ribs under the broiler on high for 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
