Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried rosemary, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well to create a marinade.
- 2
Apply Marinade
Place the center-cut sirloin steaks in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).
- 4
Cook the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
- 5
Check for Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, it should be around 135°F (57°C).
- 6
Rest the Steaks
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- 7
Plate the Dish
Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
