Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4-5 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add 2 cups of penne pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Making Sauce

  1. 4

    Heat Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Sauté Garlic

Add 3 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn.

  3. 6

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in 2 cups of halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes begin to soften.

  4. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the tomatoes. Mix well to combine.

  5. 8

    Season

Stir in 1 cup of chopped basil leaves, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Mix until everything is well combined and heated through.

Serving

  1. 9

Serve the Kingsland Pasta immediately, garnished with additional basil and Parmesan cheese if desired.
