Preparing the Salmon

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets and coat them evenly. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped capers, chopped pickles, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and hot sauce until well combined.

Cover the remoulade sauce and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
