Method
Brew the Tea
Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.
Steep Tea
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength of tea.
Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.
Sweeten the Tea (optional)
Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweet tea, add your choice of granulated sugar, honey, or stevia to the hot tea. Stir until fully dissolved.
Chill the Tea
Cool Down
Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
Serve the Tea
Prepare Glasses
Fill glasses with ice cubes to your liking.
Pour Tea
Once the tea is chilled, pour it over the ice-filled glasses.
Garnish (optional)
Add lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, or peach slices to garnish your iced tea.
