Tiramisu
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Brew the espresso or strong coffee and let it cool. Mix in the Godiva chocolate liqueur and set aside.
Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In a large bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu
Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for a few seconds, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
Chill and Serve
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
Make the Godiva Chocolate Whipped Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add 2 tablespoons of Godiva chocolate liqueur and whip until stiff peaks form.
Top the Tiramisu
Spread the Godiva chocolate whipped cream over the chilled tiramisu just before serving.
