Preparation

1

Prepare the Ham

Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F). Place the double smoked ham on a roasting rack in a large roasting pan.

2

Make the Glaze

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

3

Glaze the Ham

Brush the glaze over the ham, making sure to cover it evenly. Reserve some glaze for later.

4

Bake the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until heated through (internal temperature should reach 60°C/140°F). Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.

5

Chop and Serve

Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Then, pull and chop the ham into bite-sized pieces. Serve with your choice of two sides and drizzle with the reserved glaze.
