Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- 2
Mix the Coating
In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and red chile flakes. Mix well until fully combined.
- 3
Skewer the Bacon
Cut the bacon strips into thirds. Thread each piece onto a skewer, making sure to leave a small gap between each piece.
- 4
Coat the Bacon
Roll each skewer of bacon in the sugar mixture until well coated. Place the skewered bacon onto the prepared baking sheet.
Cooking
- 5
Bake the Bacon
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- 6
Cool and Serve
Once done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the candied bacon cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your deliciously sweet and spicy treat!
