1. Prepare the Salsa Verde
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shishito peppers and sauté until blistered, about 5-7 minutes. Add tomatillos, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Cook for another 5 minutes until tomatillos are soft. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Blend the mixture until smooth, then stir in lime juice and chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
2. Prepare the Tostadas
In a separate skillet, lightly toast the corn tortillas until crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side on medium heat. Keep warm.
3. Assemble the Tostadas
On each crispy tortilla, layer a generous amount of shredded brisket. Top with a dollop of crème fraîche and drizzle with shishito salsa verde. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
4. Serve
