Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Noodles
Cook the wide rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Steak
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear it for about 3-4 minutes on each side until medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
- 3
Stir-fry the Ingredients
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and sliced chili peppers, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4
Combine Everything
Add the cooked noodles, sliced steak, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar to the skillet. Toss everything together over medium heat until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Final Touch
Remove from heat, stir in the fresh basil leaves, and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
