Cooking Directions

- 2
Sear the Tenderloin
In a large oven-safe skillet, sear the tenderloin on all sides over medium-high heat until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 3
Roast the Tenderloin
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the tenderloin for about 20-25 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (135°F for medium-rare).
- 4
Make the Au Jus
In a saucepan, combine the beef broth and red wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the broth mixture and cook until thickened.
- 5
Rest and Slice
Remove the tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing it thin. Serve with the au jus on the side.
