Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, chopped onion, chopped celery, sage, thyme, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and egg. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). In the last minute of cooking, add shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the turkey patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
