Method

Preparing the Meat

  1. 1

    Marinade the Meat

In a bowl, combine your choice of meat (côtes de porc or poulet) with your favorite spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.) and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meat

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated meat for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for chicken or 145°F (63°C) for pork ribs.

Preparing the Buns

  1. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the meat is cooking, slice the Evangeline Maid buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until they are golden brown.

Serving

  1. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Once the meat is cooked, slice it into appropriate portions. Place the meat on the toasted buns.

  2. 5

    Add Sauce

Drizzle your choice of homemade BBQ sauce or BBQ ranch sauce over the meat on the buns.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve the sandwiches hot with a side of your choice, such as coleslaw or potato salad.
