Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and have them ready to use.

Assemble the Sandwich

Spread 1 tablespoon of 1000 Island dressing on one side of each slice of marble rye bread.

Layer the Fillings

On two slices of bread (dressing side up), layer the sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Top with the remaining slices of bread, dressing side down.

Grill the Sandwich

In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Add the remaining butter to the skillet before flipping.

Serve

Once both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted, remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
