Cooking Directions

1

Marinate the Chicken or Steak

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken or steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the green and red bell peppers, onion, and tomato into strips or bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

3

Grill the Meat

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.

4

Grill the Vegetables

On the same grill, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Grill for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred.

5

Assemble the Fajitas

Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave. On each tortilla, layer the grilled meat, grilled vegetables, diced tomato, lettuce, and cheese mix. Roll up the tortillas tightly.

6

Serve

Serve the fajitas with extra lime wedges and your favorite salsa or guacamole on the side.
