Chicken Marinade
Method
Cooking Instructions
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
Coat the Chicken
Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the Tandoor
Prepare your tandoor or grill for high heat cooking, about 450°F (232°C).
Cook the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Place the chicken in the tandoor and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
Serve
Once done, remove the chicken from the tandoor and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with the yogurt sauce on the side.
