Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Almond Paste

Soak the almonds in hot water for 15 minutes. Peel and blend them into a smooth paste with a little water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add Aromatics

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine the Almond Paste

Add the almond paste to the pan and mix well. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

  5. 5

    Add Paneer and Spices

Cut the paneer into cubes and add to the mixture along with saffron, garam masala, and salt. Stir gently to coat the paneer.

  6. 6

    Simmer

Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  7. 7

    Finish with Cream

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve hot with naan or rice.
