Gobi Pakora Ingredients

Method

Gobi Pakora Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter that is thick enough to coat the cauliflower florets.

  2. 2

    Coat the Cauliflower

Add the ginger-garlic paste and cauliflower florets to the batter. Mix until the florets are well coated.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat enough oil over medium heat for deep frying.

  4. 4

    Fry the Cauliflower

Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the coated cauliflower florets into the oil, a few at a time. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.
