Method
Kebab Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
- 2
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cilantro, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red chili powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 3
Form the Kebabs
Take a portion of the mixture and mold it around each skewer, shaping it into a long, cylindrical kebab. Ensure the meat is packed tightly to prevent it from falling apart during cooking.
- 4
Marinate
Drizzle olive oil over the kebabs and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- 5
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 6
Grill the Kebabs
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked through and has a nice char.
- 7
Serve
Remove the kebabs from the grill and serve hot with your choice of sides such as naan, rice, or salad.
