1. Soak the Rice

In a bowl, combine the long-grain white rice and cinnamon sticks with 2 cups of water. Let it soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.

After soaking, drain the rice and cinnamon mixture. In a blender, combine the soaked rice, cinnamon sticks, and 2 cups of fresh water. Blend until smooth.

3. Strain the Mixture

Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher, discarding the solids. You should have a smooth liquid.
