Directions for Baked Pecan Crusted Trout
- 1
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
Prepare the Trout
Rinse the trout fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 3
Prepare the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- 4
Coat the Trout
Dip each trout fillet in the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then press the fillet into the pecan mixture, coating both sides evenly.
- 5
Bake the Trout
Place the coated trout fillets on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
