Method

Cake Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cream Butter and Sugar

In another bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

  6. 6

    Bake the Cake

Divide the batter evenly among the three prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Cool the Cakes

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting Preparation

  1. 8

    Beat the Butter

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.

  2. 9

    Add Sugar and Cream

Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until incorporated. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract, then beat on high until fluffy.

Assembly and Decoration

  1. 10

    Layer the Cakes

Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a cake stand. Spread a layer of frosting on top.

  2. 11

    Repeat Layers

Add the second layer of cake and repeat the frosting process. Finally, place the third layer on top.

  3. 12

    Frost the Entire Cake

Use the remaining frosting to cover the top and sides of the cake.

  4. 13

    Decorate the Cake

Garnish the cake with fresh flowers and edible glitter as desired.
