Preparing the Batter

1. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of cinnamon until well combined.

2. Cream Butter and Sugar

In another bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter until smooth. Gradually add the mixture of dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

3. Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in 3 large eggs, one at a time, followed by 2 tsp of vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Incorporating Add-ins

4. Fold in Add-ins

Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of chopped walnuts into the batter until evenly distributed.

Baking the Bars

5. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

6. Pour Batter into Pan

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

7. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan.

In a small bowl, whisk together 0.5 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tbsp of milk until smooth and drizzle-able.

9. Glaze and Cut

Once the bars are completely cooled, drizzle the sugar glaze over the top. Cut into squares and serve.
