Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Cut in Butter
Add the cold butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Milk
Pour in the milk and stir gently until the dough comes together. Do not overmix.

Shape the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle.

Cut Biscuits
Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
