1. Marinate the Calamari
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, lime juice, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the cleaned calamari to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Cook the Calamari
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, remove the calamari from the marinade, shaking off excess marinade. Grill the calamari for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook them as they can become rubbery.
3. Serve
Remove the calamari from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for garnish. Serve immediately with lime wedges and extra sriracha sauce on the side if desired.
