Cooking Instructions
1. Marinate the Steak
In a large bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef sirloin steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
2. Prepare the Grill or Skillet
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil to prevent sticking.
3. Cook the Steak
Remove the steak from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place it on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
4. Add Pineapple
During the last few minutes of cooking the steak, add the pineapple slices to the grill or skillet. Cook until they are caramelized and heated through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Serve
Remove the steak and pineapple from the heat. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve topped with grilled pineapple and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
