Ingredients for Iced Tea

Method

Directions for Iced Tea

  1. 1

    Brew the Tea

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes depending on desired strength.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Tea (Optional)

If you prefer sweet iced tea, stir in 1 cup of sugar while the tea is still warm. Adjust the amount of sugar to taste.

  3. 3

    Cool the Tea

Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate until chilled, about 1-2 hours.

  4. 4

    Serve

Fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.
