Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and prepare them by chopping the vegetables, slicing the sausage, and dicing the chicken.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Meats

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and smoked sausage. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the Vegetables

Add the bell pepper, onion, celery, and garlic to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the pot and cook until they turn pink, approximately 3-4 minutes.

  6. 6

    Combine with Rice or Linguini

Stir in the cooked rice or linguini until well combined. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  7. 7

    Serve

Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
