Wings & Sauce
Method
Preparation & Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, tequila, and Cajun seasoning. Mix well and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper. Dredge the marinated wings in the flour mixture until well coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes per batch. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
