Method

Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Eggs

Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

  6. 6

    Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
