Lobster Rangoons
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Assemble the Rangoons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the lobster filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Fry the Rangoons
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add a few rangoons at a time, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Serve
Serve the lobster rangoons hot with sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping, along with a side of seaweed salad.
