Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Jasmine Rice

Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine 1 cup of rice with 1.5 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to low heat. Cook for 15 minutes, then remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

2

Prepare the Wontons

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the wonton wrappers until they are golden and crispy on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3

Sear the Ahi Tuna

Season the ahi tuna steaks with salt and pepper. Press sesame seeds onto both sides of the steaks. Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat and add a splash of sesame oil. Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, ensuring the inside remains rare. Remove from heat and let rest.

4

Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add soy sauce and stir to coat the vegetables.

5

Serve

On a plate, serve a portion of jasmine rice, top with the seared sesame crusted ahi tuna, and add a side of stir-fried vegetables. Garnish with crispy wontons.
