Grilled Chicken Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Grilling Directions
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
Grill the Chicken
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Toast the Sourdough
While the chicken is grilling, place the sourdough bread slices on the grill for about 1-2 minutes on each side until toasted.
Assemble the Sandwich
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken and layer it on one slice of toasted sourdough. Top with spicy aioli, bibb lettuce, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeños, and red onion. Top with another slice of toasted sourdough.
Serve
Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately while warm.
