Prepare the Ingredients
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry. Chop the preserved lemon and rinse the capers.
Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
Add Flavorings
Reduce the heat to medium, then add the preserved lemon, Aleppo pepper, and capers to the skillet. Stir gently to combine.
Finish with Sherry
Pour in the sherry and let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve
Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or pasta, if desired.
