Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Remove the turkey from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.
- 2
Seasoning
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme. Rub this mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin and inside the cavity.
- 3
Stuffing
Cut the lemon in half and place it inside the cavity of the turkey along with some of the fresh herbs.
- 4
Roasting
Place the turkey breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Pour the vegetable broth into the bottom of the pan to keep the turkey moist during roasting.
- 5
Cooking Time
Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 6
Basting
Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices for a golden brown skin.
- 7
Resting
Once done, remove the turkey from the oven, cover it with foil, and let it rest for at least 20-30 minutes before carving.
