Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. If using, add fresh dill and mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the sockeye salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the salmon is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillet, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with your choice of two sides or substitute a salad or baked potato for no charge.
