Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breast and coat it well with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Place the marinated chicken breast on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Add Green Chile
During the last couple of minutes of grilling, add the green chile on top of the chicken to warm it up.
- 5
Serve
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair it with your choice of two sides: rice, pinto beans, or papitas, or substitute a salad.
