Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filets

Bring the filet mignon to room temperature by leaving them out for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Filets

Rub the filets with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

  3. 3

    Sear the Filets

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the filets and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until a golden-brown crust forms.

  4. 4

    Add Aromatics

Add the garlic cloves, rosemary, and butter to the pan. As the butter melts, spoon it over the filets for added flavor.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Continue cooking the filets for another 2-3 minutes for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Rest the Filets

Remove the filets from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before serving.
