Chicken Fingers
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Fingers
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer. 2. Cut the chicken breast into strips. 3. In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, mix the bread crumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. 4. Dredge each chicken strip first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in the bread crumb mixture. 5. Place the coated chicken fingers on a baking sheet if baking, or carefully drop them into the hot oil if frying.

Cook the Chicken Fingers
6. If baking, bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown. If frying, cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. 7. Remove from the oven or fryer and let drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Pommes Frites
8. While the chicken is cooking, slice the potatoes into thin strips for fries. 9. Rinse them in cold water and dry completely with a towel. 10. If frying, heat vegetable oil in a separate pot, fry the potatoes until golden and crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
