Method

Prepare the Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the seasoned wings on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Make sure they are spread out in a single layer for even cooking.

Bake the Wings

  1. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, add your choice of sauce (hot sauce, honey, or soy sauce) and stir until well mixed.

Toss the Wings

  1. 7

    Toss Wings in Sauce

In a large bowl, add the baked wings and pour the prepared sauce over them. Toss well to ensure all wings are coated evenly.

Serve

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Serve the wings hot with a side of blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing.
