Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Boil the peeled and chopped potatoes in a large pot of salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain and return to the pot.

2

Mash the Potatoes

Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until creamy and smooth. Set aside.

3

Cook the Green Beans

In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 3-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

4

Toast the Almonds

In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the sliced almonds for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown. Remove from heat.

5

Cook the Top Sirloin

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the top sirloin with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

6

Serve

Plate the top sirloin steak alongside the mashed potatoes and green beans. Top the green beans with toasted almonds before serving.
