Preparation Steps
Prepare the Kadayif
Melt the unsalted butter in a small pan. Once melted, pour it over the kadayif dough, mixing well to ensure it is evenly coated.
Assemble the Dish
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Take half of the kadayif dough and spread it evenly in a greased baking dish, pressing it down firmly. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the dough. Add the remaining kadayif on top, pressing down again.
Bake
Bake the assembled kadayif in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Add the Syrup
Once baked, remove from the oven and immediately pour the cooled syrup over the hot kadayif. Allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve
Cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve warm or at room temperature.
